SOME recent survey statistics presented by the Scottish Further

Education Unit give a particular insight into the impact of part-time

and full-time vocational further education.

Currently, 45% of all students enrolled in FE courses are over 25. A

total of 92% of all adult students were satisfied with the college they

attend.

Between 1986 and 1991 the number of adult males enrolled grew by 50%

while in the same period the number of adult women students grew by

195%.
