BANGKOK: Two people were killed and seven injured when Muslim
separatists opened fire on a train in southern Thailand, police said.
Police said a number of gunmen fired M-16s, AK-47s and rockets at a
train travelling from Bangkok to Sungakolok, a southern town near the
Malaysian border.
