PRINTING and packaging group Ferry Pickering is cutting almost 90 jobs

with the closure of its Scottish manufacturing operation. Its

loss-making factory at Clydebank, which makes folding cartons, is to

shut by the end of next month. The factory made operating losses of

almost #365,000 in the six months to June 30. The rest of the business,

with headquarters at Lutterworth, Leicestershire, made operating profits

during the same period of about #643,000.
