BRITAIN'S oldest man, Bill Procter, yesterday celebrated his 108th
birthday with a visit by six young soldiers from the Cheshire Regiment,
with which he fought in the First World War. Mr Procter, who is due to
be mentioned in the next edition of the Guinness Book of Records, was
celebrating his birthday at Derwent Lodge Nursing Home in New Ferry,
Wirral.
