LEWIS Evans will make his 200th appearance when captaining Newport Gwent Dragons against Ulster tomorrow evening (kick-off 7.35pm).

The back row forward, who has made more appearances for the region than any other player, will bring up his double ton in the Dragons’ final fixture at Rodney Parade of the season against the Guinness PRO12 title hopefuls.

Kingsley Jones opts for Nick Crosswell as Rynard Landman’s second row partner in the absence of the ill Wales lock Cory Hill.

There are five changes to the side that was thrashed 47-17 by Glasgow at Scotstoun Stadium at the start of the month with full-back Carl Meyer, wing Adam Hughes, scrum-half Charlie Davies, hooker Rhys Buckley and Crosswell coming into the XV.

Ireland stars Jared Payne and Iain Henderson return at full-back and blindside flanker respectively for the visitors after starting in the Dublin win that denied England a Grand Slam last week.

Fellow international Paddy Jackson is among the replacements while South African ace Ruan Pienaar is at scrum-half with All Blacks dangerman Charles Piutau lurking on the wing.

Fourth-placed Ulster have taken 24 from a possible 25 points to overtake the Scarlets in the race for the final play-off berth.
