FIVE Dragons will start for Wales as they attempt to finish their World Rugby U20 Championship with a flourish against Italy tomorrow.

After losing to Argentina last week, the Welsh youngsters are bidding for a seventh-placed finish in the tournament for the third year on the spin when they take on the Italians in Beziers (kick-off 3pm).

A quintet of Dragons start with Joe Goodchild at full-back while tighthead Chris Coleman, lock Max Williams and back row forwards Lennon Greggains and Taine Basham are in the pack.

Geraint Lewis’ side lost to Italy in the Six Nations and the head coach has called for a strong end to the tournament that started so well with victory against Australia.

“The players are aware of the Italians’ strengths, having lost against them in Colwyn Bay a few months ago, so it’s up to them to put it right tomorrow,” said the head coach.

“It was great to start our time in France with a good win, but now we’d like a positive performance and result to finish it as well.”
