Division One (Seconds)
Lisvane 2nds (221 all out) lost to Chepstow 2nds (225-4)
JAMIE Rayner made an unbeaten 132 runs to lead Chepstow Seconds to victory at Lisvane on Saturday.
Rayner’s innings - from 126 balls, including 23 boundaries - came after he lost his partner for a duck and, apart from contributions by Ben Tindall (36) and Matteo Goddard (16 not out), the onus was on him to chase down the home side’s 222-run target.
It was a good day for Goddard who took 4-30 in his 33-delivery spell with Amit Kriplani chipping in with 3-26 in six overs.
