WALES half-back Sian Moore will captain the Dragons when they get their Women's Regional Championship under way against Cardiff Blues at Pontypridd tomorrow.
The new competition features five rounds of Sunday double-headers with the Dragons kicking things off against the hosts at Sardis Road (kick-off 12.30pm) before RGC take on the Scarlets.
The action moves to Ystrad Mynach in round two when the Gwent region host the Ospreys a week on Sunday, they sit out round three before heading north to face RGC on October 7 and then they round off the campaign against the Scarlets on October 14.
Moore, who has played most of her Test rugby at scrum-half, pulls the strings from fly-half while her fellow Wales ace Sian Williams should provide plenty of energy and experience from the back row.
Entry for all games of the tournament is £3 for adults and free for under-16s.
Dragons Women (vs Cardiff Blues Ladies): Paige Randall, Courtney Greenway, Hannah Bluck, India Berbillion, Carys Cox, Sian Moore (captain), Ffion Pinch; Caryl Thomas, Meg Daley, Jodie Williams, Amy Garrett, Sam Gallea, Kim Boaler, Sarah Harper, Sian Williams.
Replacements: Lauren Evans, Steph Feeny, Abi Williams, Tiegen Jones, Seren Mogford, Amberly Ruck, Meg Edwards, Beth Wakefield.
