Supporters give Newport a financial boost
THE Friends of Newport Rugby have boosted the Black and Ambers’ coffers by £25,000 with their fundraising drive.
The supporters trust was formed at the start of the semi-professional era and raises money through membership fees, matchday raffles, the monthly draw and a newly-launched weekly lottery.
FoNR treasurer Simon Mann presented a cheque for the impressive sum to Newport head coach Craig Warlow.
