Forgeside Minis unlucky again - Forgeside U7s made the short journey up the heads of the valley to play Cefn Coed of Merthyr on Sunday only to come away losing by a single score for the second week running.

This week the young black and ambers came up against a well organised Merthyr side, however they were not overawed as they forced their opponents back time and time again with some good pressure rugby and some excellent tags being made in the process especially by Harrison Reed, Cian Pearce, Will Marshall, Evan Weeks, Lewi Edwards and Demi Jenkins.

This was backed up by several outstanding tries being scored by Ieuan Rowlands, Callum Kenvin, Cai Teale and Dione Kenvin who also got on the scoresheet for the second week running.

The youngsters are maturing into a very good side and the improvements that they are making week after week is very pleasing to see for all involved.
