Talywain Under 13s 53 NHSOB Under 13s 0 THE Tigers were too hot to handle on a scorching October afternoon.

Both teams owed massive thanks to Tiger Zach Morgan who turned out for the Old Boys allowing a full 15-a-side game to be played. Zach was also probably the Old Boys Man of the Match, even taking over kick off duties at one point.

Ben Sullivan was first to score with an excellent pick up on the 22 and dance through to the line. Joel Witcombe was next, as from another scrum the backs used deft hands to put the full back free.

Duane Thomas opened his account as Scott Williams broke away to feed the outside half who shot down the touchline. Witcombe and Thomas then took it in turns to cross and both finished the half with a brace. 31-0 at half time.

Witcombe completed his hat trick from a lineout ball that was put through the hands for him to ghost passed the defenders. Dafydd Green sprinted 30 metres to get his first of the season. A execellent draw and give by Witcombe provided the space.

Thomas then completed his own hat trick by inter passing with Sullivan before space yawned open and he crossed the line once again. Scott Williams finished the game taking Talywain through the 50 point rule and the required early finish.

Witcombe got two conversions for a personal tally of 19 points and Tyler Lewis contributed his usual couple.
