TOP referee Nigel Owens expects he will have to issue plenty of cautions to a trio of rugby legends when he is compere at a Cwmbran dinner.

Former Wales fly-half Jonathan Davies, iconic New Zealand number eight Zinzan Brooke and ex-Australia try machine David Campese will appear at the Parkway Hotel on Thursday, October 30.

With Wales taking on the Wallabies, Springboks, All Blacks and Fiji in November there will be plenty for the prestigious panel to get their teeth into, keeping Owens on his toes.

“I am sure the panel of Jonathan Davies, David Campese and Zinzan Brooke will be a challenging panel to say the least,” said the Welsh referee.

“They will have to be on best behaviour, otherwise a few yellow cards will be in order! It should be a great night with these rugby legends.”

Just 20 tickets are left for the event, which starts at 7.15pm and includes a three-course dinner, Q&A session, raffle and auction.

The dress code is lounge suits and dresses with tables of 10 costing £450 with some individual places available for £45.

There will also be some platinum tables – which have a selection of fine wines and prime location for the main event – available for £650.
