RUGBY legend Jonah Lomu is heading to Cwmbran to preview the World Cup at a dinner in September.
The giant winger, who scored 37 tries in 63 appearances for the All Blacks, will be appearing at the Parkway Hotel and Spa on Thursday, September 10 – the week before England 2015 gets under way.
Lomu was the star of the 1995 tournament when his exploits for New Zealand against England led to Will Carling joking: "He is a freak and the sooner he goes away the better". His tally of 15 World Cup tries remains a record.
The dinner starts at 7.30pm and includes a three-course dinner, photo opportunities with Lomu, World Cup chat, a Q&A, raffle and charity auction.
Tables of 10 are available for £600 plus VAT and a limited number of individual tickets are available at £60 plus VAT.
