CROSS Keys have pledged that they won't take Neath lightly when they welcome the Principality Premiership's basement side to Pandy Park tomorrow afternoon (kick-off 2.30pm).

The form guide suggests the encounter is a mismatch with Keys unbeaten in eight league games while the Welsh All Blacks are yet to break their duck.

Keys won 43-0 at Pandy Park last season but head coach Greg Woods admits feeling a few nerves because of a three-week wait to build on their excellent 40-24 victory against Cardiff in the capital.

"I'm a bit apprehensive because of the break – last season we didn't win a game after the British and Irish Cup blocks," he said.

"The Foster's Challenge Cup was useful to keep the squad active (beating Ebbw Vale and losing to Bedwas) and we are making sure our concentration is where it should be because this will be a tricky fixture and a big test.

"Neath are bottom of the league but won their first game last week (against Llandovery in the Challenge Cup) and are fighting for every point.

"They are a new team trying to settle in but a lot of their games could have gone either way. We have had some tight affairs with them over the years and they beat us last season.

"We need to make sure we are focused because we have a lot to lose after putting ourselves in a fantastic position with two home games before another break for the BIC (with Llandovery visiting next weekend).

"We built up momentum before the break and need to get straight back into things."

Keys are mulling over who should wear the number 10 jersey given that Josh Prosser has a bump to his knee and Ethan Davies is with Wales 7s along with Dragons fly-half Angus O'Brien.

They are hopeful of regional assistance with Llantrisant's Lewys Montague another option after he featured in the Challenge Cup.

The Cross Keys Former Players Association have their second reunion of the season before the game in the clubhouse (start 12.30pm).
