CROSS Keys are set to be bolstered by the return of fly-half Dorian Jones as they attempt to extend their winning streak against Cardiff.

The Pandy Park side won both Principality Premiership games and a Swalec Cup encounter against the men from the capital last season.

They ran out 38-10 and 25-10 victors at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park and will hope that Jones can help them respond to last weekend's home derby disappointment against Bedwas.

Keys led 22-6 but were hit by problems at fly-half – Jones' older brother Geraint Rhys and makeshift 10 Phil Williams suffered injuries – and tumbled to a 29-25 defeat.

They will have to produce a stronger performance against a Blue and Blacks side that have taken 10 points from 10 after impressive wins against Bridgend and Llanelli in the capital.

Tomorrow's hosts are also set to be boosted by the presence of a number of full-timers that will be attempting to impress Cardiff Blues boss Mark Hammett.

"It's a huge challenge," said Keys head coach Greg Woods. "Cardiff have started really well and given the amount of Blues that will be playing it'll almost be like playing a regional side.

"But we don't fear anyone and we go there looking to bounce back after last week's disappointment.

"With a derby against Ebbw Vale and the British and Irish Cup coming up some boys have the chance to stake a claim for starts in big fixtures.

"They will be chomping at the bit and it will do their chances of selection the world of good if they impress against full-time players.

"We will be going there to play attacking rugby because that approach served us well in Cardiff last year."

Dorian Jones, who started at inside centre for Newport Gwent Dragons against Glasgow last weekend because of the region's midfield crisis, is set to have James Leadbeater as his half-back partner.

Wales sevens international Geraint Rhys Jones has been back training with the Dragons this week after being forced off by a blow to the ankle against Bedwas.

However, centre Williams is set for a long-term layoff with the knee injury he suffered against Bedwas, although the full extend will only become clear once swelling subsides.
