WALES Women have a new home at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park this season with a pair of autumn dates in the capital.

Last season’s Six Nations fixtures were played at the Gnoll in Neath and the Talbot Athletic Ground in Aberavon.

However, they will move to Cardiff with a clash with Scotland on Saturday, October 29 (kick-off midday) and a Remembrance Day encounter with the UK Armed Forces on Friday, November 11 (kick-off 7.30pm).

“Being able to call BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park the home of Wales Women this season is fantastic news for us,” said head coach Rowland Phillips.

“It’s a sign of the progress the women’s game is making in this country that we’re able to host our upcoming matches here in the capital city, and I fully expect us to get some big crowds there.”

“We’ve got two tough opening fixtures this autumn against Scotland and the UK Armed Forces, so this is an opportunity for players to get themselves noticed – especially with the 2017 Six Nations on the horizon in a few months’ time.”

Tickets for Wales Women’s autumn fixtures cost £5 for adults and £1 for under-16s. They can be bought on the Welsh Rugby Union’s website, in the WRU Store in Westgate Street, Cardiff, or by calling 02920 822432
