NEWPORT County powered to a 3-1 victory over York City after a series of errors cost the Minstermen.
York led 1-0 at the interval after Diego De Girolamo caught County cold on his debut, but the sending off of skipper Russ Penn just after the break totally changed the contest.
First Andrew Hughes showed strength and precision to slot home Newport's equaliser and a horrendous error from Marvin McCoy gifted Chris Zebroski a second.
And a stunning thunderbolt of a volley from Darren Jones put Newport out of sight as they got back to winning ways in League Two.
