NEWPORT County AFC fans are gearing up for one of the most important nights in the club’s history, and the South Wales Argus will be with them every step of the way.

On Thursday night Newport County AFC Supporters Trust will be hosting their share offer launch as they aim to complete their takeover of the club.

It represents a watershed moment in the history of the club as supporters rally round to show their true colours.

Newport’s Riverfront Theatre, where the launch takes place from 7pm onwards, is expected to be filled to the rafters with fans eager to show their loyalty and become part of the club.

But fans who can’t make the big night should not be worried, as the South Wales Argus will be covering everything that happens both online and in print.

We will be live-tweeting and live-blogging what everyone is talking about, so even if you can’t make it you’ll feel like you were there.

We’ll have a full write-up online as soon as the dust has settled, as well as a summary and reaction in Friday’s edition of the paper.

We’ll also be taking photos and showing you how many people have come out to support their local club.

For all the latest news from the meeting log on to our www.southwalesargus.co.uk website, where we will have a live-blog with tweets from our roving sports reporter Michael Pearlman from 7pm onwards. He will be tweeting from the @argusoncounty account.
