NEWPORT County AFC have signed striker Tyler Blackwood on a one-month loan deal.
"London born Tyler, started his career as a trainee at Northampton Town, before making a switch across the Atlantic to play college football in the States," a club statement read.
"Tyler's experience of playing in the States, during his time at the University of Tampa, was split between Tampa Spartans and South Florida Bulls.
"After returning from the US towards the end of the 2014-15 season, Tyler started to train with West-London outfit Queen's Park Rangers and impressed during a trial period. He was then offered a professional contract this summer at QPR.
"The striker made his debut for QPR at the beginning of August, replacing Matt Phillips in the second-half of a comfortable three-nil victory over Yeovil in the Capital One Cup.
"The initial period of this loan will last until our game against Bristol Rovers, on Saturday 24th of October.
"Tyler will be available for Saturday’s match against Carlisle, subject to obtaining international clearance."
