NEWPORT County AFC’s abandoned clash with Barnet at Rodney Parade last Saturday has been rearranged.

The Sky Bet League Two fixture, called off at half time due to a waterlogged pitch, will now take place on Tuesday, October 18 (7.45pm).

County say tickets purchased for the original game remain valid for the rearranged date and can be used at the gate.

This move is a one-off deviation from the club’s customer charter and standard policy as a thank you to the fans who attended the curtailed match six days ago.

Fans unable to make the rearranged date are entitled to a full refund, which can be obtained by contacting the club’s ticket office. Refunds are available up until Monday, October 17.

Refunds can be processed up to midday ahead of County’s game against Cheltenham Town tomorrow and for one hour after the match. This is in order to ease congestion at the ticket office.

Refunds will then be processed during normal ticket office hours (10am-3pm Monday to Friday).

In order to obtain a refund, the original match ticket or proof of purchase must be presented to the ticket office.
