HEAD coach Kingsley Jones has warned his Newport Gwent Dragons side that they won't catch Leinster cold in the Guinness Pro12 this afternoon (kick-off 2.30pm), writes Chris Kirwan.

The Dragons did the double over the Dubliners last season, enjoying a shock 16-14 success in the Irish capital in February then edging a thriller at Rodney Parade.

Leinster may be without their sizeable Ireland contingent but Jones says their hosts at the Royal Dublin Society will be fuelled by revenge.

He said: "They have the added incentive of us having done the double over them last year and I am sure they have talked this week about putting things right. It will be a big challenge.

"We've talked about earning the respect of the opposition and we will certainly have that from Leinster.

"They will be properly fired-up because they will feel they have a score to settle so we will have to raise our game if we are to repeat last year's feat."

The Dragons made history in Dublin last season by triumphing in the Irish capital for the first time at the 12th attempt.

Jones believes that shock success, which ended a seven-year drought in Ireland, means they head to the RDS without any hang-ups.

"If you always go to a ground and lose it's a psychological hurdle but we had a lot of new players with bad memories," he said.

"They didn't care. They had never been there before. Sometimes that is in your favour and we now have a good memory of there."

Five changes are made to the side that spluttered when winning 13-0 against Zebre on September 11 with full-back Carl Meyer, hooker Hugh Gustafson, lock Nick Crosswell and flankers James Thomas and James Benjamin getting the nod.
