TOM Prydie will make his first Newport Gwent Dragons appearance in 10 months in tomorrow’s Guinness Pro12 derby against the Scarlets.

The five-times capped Wales international slots in at full-back for the trip to Llanelli after being an unused replacement in last week’s 26-17 loss to Glasgow at Rodney Parade.

Prydie, 24, hasn’t featured for the Dragons since rupturing knee ligaments in the European Challenge Cup win against Pau last December.

Head coach Kingsley Jones makes five other changes with Adam Warren replacing Sam Beard – Wales international Tyler Morgan suffered a minor strain in training – while Charlie Davies gets the nod at scrum-half.

Rhys Buckley is in at hooker for Rhys Thomas, who suffered a blow to the neck against Glasgow, while Cory Hill and Ed Jackson are back at lock and number eight respectively.

Nick Crosswell shifts from the back row to the second row with Rynard Landman, who has been struggling with a leg injury, missing out.

The Scarlets have made two changes to their side that beat Treviso in Italy last weekend with former Pontypool number eight Morgan Allen replacing Scotland international John Barclay while Aled Davies comes in for fellow Wales scrum-half Gareth Davies.

Former Dragons scrum-half Jonathan Evans is on the bench where he is joined by loosehead Luke Garrett, who is on loan from Rodney Parade.
