WALES centre Tyler Morgan will make his return from a hamstring injury in Newport Gwent Dragons’ Anglo-Welsh Cup clash with the Scarlets tomorrow (kick-off 7.30pm).

The 21-year-old from Caerleon was released from Rob Howley’s squad for the autumn internationals after being unable to play a full part in training but has been named on the bench for the derby at Rodney Parade.

The Dragons have named a strong side in a bid to build momentum for the home Guinness Pro12 clash with Edinburgh a week on Saturday.

Tighthead Leon Brown, who has joined the Wales seniors for training this autumn, will make his first regional start after the 20-year-old made his debut off the bench in last week’s 42-3 hammering at Leicester.

There are 10 other changes to the XV with the first-teamers getting the call – wing Pat Howard, centre Sam Beard, fly-half Angus O’Brien, scrum-half Sarel Pretorius, loosehead Sam Hobbs, hooker Rhys Buckley, locks Nick Crosswell and Rynard Landman, flanker Ollie Griffiths and number eight Ed Jackson.

Fly-half Arwel Robson, 19, gets another chance among the replacements after an impressive cameo on debut at Welford Road.

On-loan Dragons loosehead Luke Garrett is on the Scarlets bench while there are starts for former Cross Keys back row forward Jack Condy at blindside flanker and ex-Pontypool number eight Morgan Allen. Former Bedwas fly-half Jack Maynard, now with Llandovery, is among the replacements.
