PROP Sam Hobbs will make his return from injury for the Dragons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup clash against the Scarlets at Rodney Parade tomorrow.
The loosehead prop will make his first appearance of the season from the bench after a summer knee operation.
The 29-year-old had a strong first campaign at Rodney Parade after making the short move from Cardiff Blues last summer, playing in 27 of 32 possible games, 20 of them starts.
He returns as part of a youthful line-up for the derby against the west Walians.
Scrum-half Dan Babos and loosehead Josh Reynolds make their debuts from the off while scrum-half Callum Morris, a Wales Under-18s international from the north west of England, and centre Connor Edwards are set to feature for the first time as replacements.
Fly-half Angus O’Brien slots in at full-back while Ollie Griffiths makes a rapid return from October jaw surgery to skipper the team from openside.
