BEDWAS’ hopes of sneaking into the Premiership playoffs are all but over but the Bridge Field outfit will want to finish another fine season with a flourish.
It would take an implosion by all four of Llandovery, Carmarthen Quins, Cross Keys and Llanelli for Steve Law’s men to extend their season beyond April 26.
Nonetheless, unfancied Bedwas will want to end the campaign on a high with the first of their four remaining fixtures pitting them against relegation-threatened Neath.
They did the Welsh All Blacks a favour by edging out bottom club Swansea 25-20 last weekend thanks to prop Joe Mills’ late try. That tough encounter means that there is no danger of Neath being taken lightly this weekend.
