EBBW Vale will get the chance for revenge for a rare home defeat when they make their return to the Principality Premiership on September 13.

The Steelmen will host Llandovery on the opening weekend of the league season. The Drovers were the only side to beat them at Eugene Cross Park last term when they sneaked a 16-13 Swalec Cup quarter-final win.

Newport and Cross Keys open their campaigns up out west at Carmarthen Quins and Aberavon respectively while Bedwas welcome Llanelli to Bridge Field.

Ebbw don’t have to wait long for a Premiership Gwent derby – they play the Black and Ambers in round three and head to Pandy Park to take on Keys the following weekend.

The Boxing Day/December 27 fixtures will see Keys hosting Newport and the Steelmen heading to Bedwas.

The season gets under way on August 30 with British and Irish Cup qualifiers, with the victors of the Cross Keys v Ebbw Vale and Bedwas v Newport encounters clashing the following week for a place in the cross-border tournament.
