TALYWAIN RFC gained their first league win after a disappointing start to the season beating Newport HSOB 42 - 21.
It was a good all-round performance with all playing well. Lloyd Parks had an outstanding game which earned him man of the match.
Paxo put in a fantastic all-round performance and topped it off scoring four well-taken tries. Colin Bridges and Luke Bigham took the tally of tries to six.
No 10 Tom Haynes who was also close to claiming the man of the match award after putting in a tremendous performance converted 12 points.
The foundation was laid by a brilliant pack performance allowing Tom to dictate play. Taly hope now to continue with this form when they travel to Pill on Saturday.
