STEPPING DOWN: Alun Carter
PONTYPOOL RFC chiefs announced today that its director of rugby Alun Carter has left the club.
A club spokesman said the move was mutually agreed by the club and Alun and was with immediate effect.
Alun Carter served as a rugby consultant for Pontypool RFC during the 2013/2014 season before being appointed as the club’s director of rugby in July last year.
The spokesman said: " Everyone at Pontypool RFC wishes him every success in his future endeavours and we thank him for his services to the club."
