WALES will attempt to avoid the anguish of last autumn in another Australia opener next season before dates against Georgia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Warren Gatland’s side will take on the big three SANZAR nations with the clash against the All Blacks their first in Cardiff since November 2014. They will lock horns with Georgia for the first time.

This season they were thrashed 32-8 by the Wallabies before, under the stewardship of interim boss Rob Howley, they rallied for successes against Argentina, Japan and South Africa.

The 33-30 win against the Brave Blossoms was the best attended of the 2016 series with the other three fixtures failing to break through the 60,000 barrier.

The 2017 series is on four Saturdays with ticket prices reduced for the clashes against the Wallabies and Springboks while the Georgia date has the same pricing (£20 adults, £10 under-16s) as last year’s Japan sell-out.

Supporters can watch the Australia and South Africa Tests from £25 for adults and 48,000 seats, across the two matches, have been reduced from £60 to £45 with under-16s tickets available for £15.

“Our new pricing structure is a reflection of our ambition to sell-out the venue across all four matches whilst also hitting our business targets for investment back into all levels of the game,” said chief executive Martyn Phillips.

Tickets are on sale from rugby clubs for all four fixtures and go on public sale from June 9.

Fixtures: Australia – November 11 (5.15pm), Georgia – November 18 (2.30pm), New Zealand – November 25 (5.15pm), South Africa – December 2 (2.30pm)
