CHRIS Coleman has named what could yet be his final squad as Wales manager after holding talks with the Football Association of Wales over his future.

The 43-year-old has been strongly linked with the vacant manager's post at his former club Crystal Palace.

Coleman's current contract runs out after Wales' friendly against Finland next Saturday (kick-off 6pm) and he is the bookies’ favourite to take the Palace job.

But it is understood that a new contract with the FAW is still on the table, should he want to extend his stay as national boss.

Coleman took over as Wales manager in January 2012 following the death of Gary Speed but the team failed to qualify for the World Cup, finishing fifth in Group A.

It was one of the toughest groups however, and Coleman's side did end strongly with a 1-1 draw away against group winners Belgium and victory over Macedonia.

Coleman said after the final qualifier that he did not expect to be judged over the last two matches.

If Coleman does remain in the position he will have to find a new assistant after John Hartson announced this week he is standing down.

The 23-man party for the game at the Cardiff City Stadium sees regular captain Ashley Williams return after missing the double-header against Macedonia and Belgium through injury.

Star players Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are also included in the first squad to be named since the international retirement of forward Craig Bellamy.

Newport-born West Ham defender James Collins, who recently resolved his differences with Coleman, again features while Ben Davies, Joe Allen and Joe Ledley return from injury.

There is no place for Cwmbran’s Danny Gabbidon but Chepstow youngster James Wilson is on a seven-man standby list.

Meanwhile, Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay must decide whether to tinker with his derby-winning line-up when the Bluebirds travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Mackay may opt to rest Bellamy after the striker's exertions in the victory over Swansea City, and could also be tempted to restore Aron Gunnarsson to his side.

The Swans will be without goalkeeper Michel Vorm against Mark Hughes’ Stoke City on Sunday as the Dutchman serves a one-match ban following his red card at Cardiff.
