SUPERSTARS Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey can fire Wales all the way to Euro 2016, according to teammate Andy King.

Chris Coleman’s men kick-off their qualifying campaign in Andorra tomorrow night (kick-off 7.45pm) and King believes Bale and Ramsey can inspire Wales to glory.

“It would be a massive boost for any side in Europe to have those players turning up,” said the Leicester City midfielder.

“To have them in our armoury is really good and really encouraging going into the game on Tuesday.

“I don’t think we’ve had a campaign before where we’ve had a fully fit squad on a number of occasions.

“There are going to be injuries – that’s part and parcel of football – but to keep the key players fit is key in terms of strength and depth.”

King played against Ramsey last weekend as the Foxes held the Gunners to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League and he’s happy to be on the same side tomorrow night.

“I think he’s Arsenal’s best player and he’s probably been that for the last 18 months,” said King.

“I don’t see why he can’t go on to be one of the best midfielders in Europe.

“He’s brilliant for Arsenal and brilliant for Wales as well, so to have him in our team is only going to be good for us.”

On competing with the likes of Bale, Ramsey and Liverpool’s Joe Allen for a starting place, King added: “You want to be playing at as high a level as possible to improve your own game and also to be seen to be playing well.

“It’s good that we’re doing well in terms of Premier League midfielders and it’s a nice problem to have.”

King is convinced that Wales can qualify for the tournament in France with the top two going through automatically and the third-placed team into a play-off.

“The feeling is really positive, we’ve got a strong squad with not too many injuries this time,” said the 25-year-old.

“It’s the start of the campaign and a really good chance for us to get the three points and get off to a really good start.

“It’s good to be back and we look forward to having the chance to qualify for something.

“To have something to work towards now is really encouraging and like I say, we’re all really looking forward to it.”
