POWERHOUSE centre Mathieu Bastareaud will deputise for injured captain Guilhem Guirado in France’s Six Nations finale with Wales in Cardiff.

The skipper is out because of a knee injury and is replaced in the side by Adrien Pelissie of Bordeaux-Begles, who started against the Dragons in the European Challenge Cup match at Rodney Parade in January.

Toulouse speedster Gael Fickou comes in for injured full-back Hugo Bonneval (head injury) with Benjamin Fall moving from the wing while Rabah Slimani is on the bench with Racing 92’s Cedate Gomes Sa starting.

France head into the game on the back of wins against Italy and England and can still claim runners-up spot behind champions Ireland.
