WALES have made just two changes to their side to face South Africa in Nelspruit on Saturday – with tighthead Adam Jones dropped from the matchday squad.

Boss Warren Gatland hands a first Test start to prop Samson Lee ahead of Jones, who doesn’t even get a place on the bench after being replaced in the first half in Durban last weekend, while Josh Turnbull replaces Aaron Shingler at openside flanker.

There had been calls from some quarters to include scrum-half Gareth Davies, full-back Matthew Morgan and lock Ian Evans after the 38-16 first Test thrashing in Durban but the head coach has kept changes to a minimum and has demanded a response.

“We see Saturday as an opportunity to right the wrongs of last weekend," said Gatland.

"We were disappointed with last week's display but we want to finish the season with a big performance and show what we know we are capable of.

"It's a great opportunity for Samson and Josh and they deserve the chance after impressing from the bench last weekend.”

Tighthead Aaron Jarvis is preferred to Jones on the bench while lock Jake Ball and number eight Dan Baker are also included in the 23.
