ROOME (Gillian Kathleen) Gill died peacefully after a short stay in the Royal Gwent Hospital on the 12th. April 2021 aged 80. Much loved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and colleague. A private funeral is to take place at Langstone Vale Crematorium on Thursday 13th May at 12.30p.m. Attendance is by invitation only because of Covid restrictions but if you wish you can pay your respects outside Gill's home at 12.00 noon. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Alzheimers Research U.K. Enquiries to Peterson Funeral Service, Cwmbran. Tel: 01633 483127.

God bless, 'Auntie' Gill.
You and 'Uncle' Bob were a tremendously important and influential part of my childhood and teenage years. Yours was the house all of Matthew's friends gravitated towards because of your hospitality, generosity and your genuine interest in us all.

I’m so sorry to hear of Gill’s passing, she was the most professional person I worked alongside in residential care, she treated everyone with the utmost respect, and always worked to extremely high standards. I feel privileged to have known and worked with Gill and I have no doubt my other colleagues would say exactly the same.
