TEMPORARY CLOSURE 41327 BOURNE LANE (BRIMSCOMBE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41327

Bourne Lane from its junction with Toadsmoor Road to its junction with

Youngs Orchard for a distance of approximately 60 metres.

The reason for the closure is to rebuild a failing retaining wall.

The road is expected to be closed on 19th August 2019 until

13th September 2019 or until the works have been completed. For further

Alternative Route - As signed on site

Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained due to construction vehicles and plant equipment parked on the narrow road.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/265 Tinkley Lane either side of its junction with Tinkley Corner for a distance of approximately 15 metres.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MMH/1 AND MWO/24 FOOTPATHS WITHIN MINCHINHAMPTON TOWN AND WOODCHESTER PARISH STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) parts of Public Footpaths MMH/1 and MWO/24 as detailed in the schedule below;

SCHEDULE

Public Footpath MMH/1 in the Town ofMinchinhampton from its junction with Bath Road by Little Britain Farm running in a generally easterly direction, crossing into Woodchester Parish and continuing as Public Footpath MWO/24, for a distance of approximately 360 metres to a point where it

meets Footpath MWO/23.

The closures are necessary on health and safety grounds during the construction of a water trunk main for Severn Trent. The Footpaths are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 2nd September 2019 where the presence of appropriate signage will indicate whether the closure is in force, further, advance warning of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking place. This Order can permit the closure of the Footpaths in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be complete by 2nd February 2020. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. Emergency and pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained. There are no alternative routes but access gates will be provided either side of where the works are taking place. Closures will be managed locally and paths will be kept open unless works on site necessitate them being closed for a short period.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part ofthe 3/209 Oldends Lane for 50 metres either side of the level crossing for a total distance of 110 metres.
