Dorset Council has made an Amendment Order to 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of East Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014' under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. When the Order comes into operation on the 1 November 2019 the effect of the Order will be to introduce new restrictions in Ellesfield Drive and Glenmoor Road, West Parley. Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the lengths of roads affected, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:-

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose.
