Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E2/8 Wimborne
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath E2/8,Wimborne, from grid reference SZ 00526 99983 to grid reference SU 00263 00087, a distance of approximately 300 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 06/12/2021 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No.23) (Lake Road Verwood) Order 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the abovementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. When the Order comes into operation on 6 December 2021 the effect of the Order is to introduce no waiting at any time time restrictions on a portion of Lake Road, Verwood.
