GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY HRL 3
AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH HRL 4 (LITTLE RISSIHGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE Is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Rights of Way and Public Bridleway as described in the schedule below.
SCHEDULE
Public Bridleway HRL 3 from its junction with Church Lane extending in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 860 metres to it's a junction with Public Footpath HRL 2.
Public Footpath HRL 4 from its junction with Public Footpath HRL 3 extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 830 metres to a point 215 metres south of the 3/137 Wyck Rissington to Wyck Road. The Public Rights of Way and Public Bridleway fall within the Parish of Little Rissington in the Cotswold District, in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the pubic whilst construction works take place. The Order came into force on the 17thJune 2021 and it was anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 20th December 2021. However, works have still not completed, and an extension has been granted by the Secretary of State for Transport and will continue until 21 st June 2022, or until the works are complete whichever is earliest. Alternative Route - for pedestrian, as signed on the Order Map. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained as there are no additional properties. Date: 2nd December 2021
