NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath CDU 11 from opposite

The Priory and running generally northerly for approximately 270 metres just north of the former Lister buildings. The closure is necessary to protect the public when demolition of the surrounding buildings is carried out This temporary closure Order came into force on the 23rd October 2014 and was extended by the Secretary of State for Transport until 23rd April 2018. However, works have still not completed, and a further extension has been granted, and will last until 23rd October 2018 or until the works are complete whichever is earliest. There is no alternative route.
