TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING

The present use of the building is within D1 of the Use Classes Order as a place of worship, which would also permit community uses including clinics, surgeries, crèches, day

nurseries and consulting rooms.

Pre-application advice has been sought from the Forest of Dean District Council and their full response is available from the Agents. In principle the Authority has stated that if it can be demonstrated that the facilities are no longer viable for community use, then it would be acceptable to use the building for residential accommodation. This could include either their conversion or entire redevelopment.

An application for the building to be declared a community asset was lodged by Lydney Town Council but subsequently withdrawn.

Interested parties should address any specific enquiries to the planning authority.

The property is offered for sale by private treaty with a guide price of £200,000, subject to contract.
