Description

The Warren is an imposing converted red brick barn set within the former grounds of the period Listed farmhouse Wychbold Court. The property was converted to a high standard around 1999 and has spacious and flexible accommodation. Many of its original features including timbers, vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork have been retained. The current owners have updated the barn in recent years which now has a new stable door leading into the hallway which has a terracotta tiled floor. To the left you enter a generous sitting room with feature brick fireplace with wood burner and a washed light grey wood effect flooring which runs through into the dining area and then into the kitchen which has been recently refitted. The kitchen has light grey gloss units, matt granite worktops and a tiled splashback behind the units. Integrated appliances include an oven, microwave, under counter fridge and freezer, dishwasher, Whirlpool induction hob with extractor above. In the kitchen there are two large French doors and two full height windows allowing in lots of light. A door leads into a further hallway with the utility room off which has the same gloss fronted units as the kitchen, worktop, new boiler and space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a bathroom off this hallway with white fittings, shower over the bath, quarry tiled floor and part tiled walls. Next door to this is a huge bedroom with French doors opening onto the courtyard garden and two full height windows. This room could equally be used as a second sitting room. Off the main hallway steps lead up to the right hand side where a passageway leads around a feature curved brick wall behind which is the family shower room with large walk-in shower, two modern sinks on a granite top, fully tiled floor and walls. There are two further double bedrooms. Off the main hallway a staircase leads up to the mezzanine. This is currently used as a bedroom, again this is a flexible room and this could also be used as a home office or further sitting area.

Gardens & Grounds

The barns share the same entrance from Worcester Road as Wychbold Court with a private drive to the side of the property which has a feature wall and two five bar gates opening into an extensive stone pebble drive with parking and turning for several vehicles. The remainder of the garden is laid to lawn. There is a laurel hedge to the side boundary and a brick and tiled garage also with a garden store.
