CRUNCH through leaves, explore historic houses and make the most of nature’s grand finale, with plenty of family fun this half term.
Tredegar House, Newport, is celebrating all things nature during the week off. Discover the secret life of hedgehogs and find out fascinating facts about these shy creatures.
You can walk a mile in a hedgehog’s paw-prints, as you follow a special trail through the Orchard Garden, keeping an eye out for hedgehog-friendly snacks along the way.
After all that exploring, get creative with some critter crafts and take part in some ranger-led activities, where - on selected days - the team will be there to help you to tick off some of the 50 things to do before you’re 11¾ activities.
Further afield, try your hand at gardening and pumpkin carving, at Dyffryn Gardens, in the Vale of Glamorgan.
