ON SUNDAY, communities nationwide will commemorate Armistice Day.
Here are the details for some of the services due to take place across Monmouthshire.
Abergavenny: A parade will leave the Market Hall at 10.40am and march to the cenotaph for a service. Afterwards, a "tea with the troops" will be held in the Priory Centre at St Mary's Church. A Battle's Over tribute will begin at 6.45pm in the castle grounds.
Caldicot: A parade will assemble at 10am on Jubilee Way and march to the Cross for an 11am service. A sunset service will begin at the Cross at 4pm.
Chepstow: A parade will assemble by 10.25am in the Welsh Street car park, before marching to the war memorial. Afterwards, refreshments will be served in the Chepstow Club.
Monmouth: A parade will leave the Monnow Bridge at 10.30am and pass the Shire Hall on the way to the war memorial for a service. Afterwards, a service will be held at the Priory Church of St Mary the Virgin.
Usk: At 10.30am, a tree from the Mametz Wood in Belgium will be planted in the castle grounds. A parade will leave the Royal British Legion at 2.30pm for a 3pm service at St Mary's Church.
