THE Barry Dock lifeboat volunteer crew were tasked to two stand-up paddle boarders south of the Old Harbour at 6.25pm on Friday, July 12.
Milford Haven coastguard requested the Barry Dock inshore lifeboat to be launched.
The inshore lifeboat, Frances Corscaden, with three crew onboard located the two people and returned them safely to the slipway at Watchtower Bay where they were met by the Barry Coastguards.
A concerned member of the public had raised the alarm.
The crew of the larger all weather lifeboat, Inner wheel II were ready to leave the pontoon, but we're stood down.
Both boats now ready for service.
