UNLESS you were working on one of the supermarket freezer aisles, you probably noticed it was rather hot yesterday. 

Temperatures crept up over 30 degrees in Warrington on the hottest day of the year. 

And while a number of employees told us it was hot and sticky in their business place, many others have been sharing the lovely gestures their bosses made to keep them cool.

There were also ice cream vans at Novellis in Latchford and DPD site in Appleton

The hospital director at Spire Hospital was very popular after handing out lolly ices to staff and people waiting for appointments. 

While at LimeLight salon, owner Laura Dobson came in armed with McDonald's smoothies to cool her staff down.

And while they're not really a 'boss', the coaches at Woolston Rovers U7s Greens were praised for very kindly treating all the players to a Matt’s Ices after a hot training session on Wednesday.
