TICKETS for next week’s Carabao Cup second-round tie between Newport County AFC and West Ham United go on general sale today.

The match takes place next Tuesday, August 27 (kick-off 7.45pm), at Rodney Parade and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Tickets were on sale to County season ticket holders, Trust members and community shareholders, volunteers and Clwb Spytty members over the past two days.

Around 2,000 tickets have already been sold to Exiles fans during the priority window and the remaining 4,000 now available to purchase on general sale.

Tickets cost from £20 to £22 for adults, £18 for over-60s, £14 to £16 for 16 to 21-year-olds, £10 for under-16s and £8 for under-12s. Children under the age of six get in free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Tickets are available in person at the Rodney Parade ticket office from 9am to 7pm today and from 9am to 5pm tomorrow at the Kingsway club shop.

The ticket hotline (01633 415374) will be operating from 9am to 7pm today and from 9am to 5pm tomorrow.

The club say there will be no online sales due to security advice.

West Ham have sold all of their 1,039 allocated tickets.
