A DORSET-BASED theatre company is bringing A.R Gurney’s highly acclaimed Love Letters to various smaller venues around Bournemouth, Poole and Verwood.

Presented by Paradox Productions, this play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and is described as “a unique piece of theatre” which charts the bittersweet relationship of the two characters over a period of 50 years and “is both amusing as well as deeply moving”.

It’s about love, friendship, loss and life’s challenges and will be performed by two seasoned actors Harry Susser and Louise Thomas.

The play first opened in Connecticut in 1988 and since then has been performed by such prestigious cast members as Tom Hanks, Sissy Spacek, Charlton Heston and Lyn Redgrave amongst many others
