A CAR has rolled over on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 near Newport.
The incident happened just before Junction 29 (A48M), and was causing long tailbacks for traffic travelling eastwards towards Newport.
UPDATE 7.40PM: Traffic has returned to normal.

UPDATE 6.15PM: Here is the full statement from Gwent Police:
"At approximately 4.11pm this afternoon, officers were called to a reported three-vehicle road traffic collision on the M4 Eastbound, just prior to the A48(M) intersection.
"Officers and emergency services are currently on the scene.
"At present, there are no serious injuries reported, however, two drivers have been conveyed to the Royal Gwent Hospital as a precautionary measure.
"The road is closed and diversions are in place which may cause congestion.
"We will update you as soon as the road is re-open.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have dash-cam footage, or anyone who has any further information should call 101 quoting log number: 343 20/09/19 or you can Direct Message (DM) us on our Facebook and Twitter social media pages."

UPDATE 5.50PM: No serious injuries have been reported, Gwent Police said in a statement.

UPDATE 5.25PM: According to Traffic Wales, lane two has re-opened. Lane one remains closed while the emergency services await vehicle recovery. Severe delays remain in the area.

Traffic cameras are showing long tailbacks on the eastern carriageway, stretching to Junction 30 (Cardiff Gate).
