MUSIC festivals are big business and bring tens of thousands of revellers to Dorset every year. Dates for the main events in 2020 have now been released so grab your diary and take note...

1. Winter’s End Rock & Blues Festival is at Sandford Holiday Park near Wareham from February 28 to March 1.

2. Teddy Rocks which raises funds for Teddy20, a children’s cancer charity, is at Charisworth Farm near Blandford from Friday, May 1 to May 3.

3. Loverocks Classic Rock & Blues Festival at St Leonards Farm Caravan & Camping Park at West Moors on June 5.

4. Vdub at the Pub VW festival at Julian’s Road, Wimborne from June 21 to June 23

5. Bournemouth Reggae Weekender, first reggae in the park event at King’s Park from July 4 to July 5 from 11am.

6. SandFest at Sandbanks Beach, July 12 from 12pm – 10pm

7. Wilkswood Reggae Festival at Wilkswood Farm on the outskirts of Swanage from July 19 to July 21.

8. Poole Harbour Festival at Baiter Harbourside car park, Poole from July 31 to August 2 .

9. Camp Bestival, at Lulworth Castle Wareham, Thursday July 30 to Sunday August 2.

10. The Legends Festival is at Canford Arena from 1pm to 10.30pm on Saturday June 20.

11. 80s Anthems vs 90s Club Classics also at Canford Arena on June 19 from 7pm to 10.30pm.

12. Larmer Tree Festival at the Larmer Tree Gardens near Tollard Royal runs from July 16 to 19.

13 Purbeck Valley Folk Festival is a small festival set on a farm on the Jurassic coast from August 20 to August 23.

14. End of The Road at the Larmer Tree Gardens runs from September 3 to September 6
