THE Vale of Glamorgan constituency will see four candidates seek to become the next MP in the UK general election to be held on Thursday, December 12.
The candidates, in the nationwide poll, are Alun Cairns, Welsh Conservative; Belinda Loveluck-Edwards, Welsh Labour; Anthony Slaughter, Green Party; and Laurence Williams, of Gwlad Gwlad.
Pro-remain parties Plaid Cymru, Liberal Democrats, and the Green Party have formed a pact meaning that Plaid and the Liberal Democrats will stand aside for the Green Party candidate in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The seat has been held by Tory, Alun Cairns since 2010.
